The most convenient airports for traveling to Rome are:

  1. Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (Fiumicino) – FCO
    Located about 30 minutes from the city center, Fiumicino is Rome’s largest international airport and the most commonly used for international flights. It’s well-connected to the city through various transportation options.

  2. Ciampino International Airport (CIA)
    Situated approximately 20 minutes from downtown Rome, Ciampino is a smaller airport, primarily serving low-cost carriers and European flights. While not as large as Fiumicino, it offers easy access to the city with public transportation.

Transportation from the Airport to Via A. Algardi 19:

  1. From Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (Fiumicino):

    • By Train (Non-Express):
      Take the regular Regionale train (not the Leonardo Express) from Fiumicino Airport to Trastevere Station. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes. From Trastevere Station, you can either take a bus or a taxi to reach Alessandro Algardi 19.

    • By Bus:
      Bus routes 170, 780, or 87 run from Trastevere Station and stop near Alessandro Algardi 19, taking about 20-25 minutes. Make sure to check the specific bus schedules closer to your travel date.

    • By Taxi:
      Taxis are available at Trastevere Station and will take you directly to Alessandro Algardi 19 in about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. 

  2. From Ciampino International Airport:

    • By Bus:
      There are several buses that run from Ciampino to Termini Station, taking around 30 minutes. From Termini, you can continue your journey by metro or taxi.

    • By Taxi:
      Taxis are available directly outside the airport, and the ride to Alessandro Algardi 19 typically takes around 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

    • By Private Transfer:
      For a more comfortable and personalized experience, you can book a private transfer in advance.
